NEARLY 20 Dominican poachers admitted yesterday to plundering Bahamian waters of nearly 3,000 pounds worth of fisheries last week. TAXI UNION THREATENS STOPPAGE
THE Bahamas Taxi Cab Union is threatening to withdraw services this holiday season if Transport Minister Renward Wells does not meet with them soon to disclose the government’s plans for the sector on the issue of taxi plates. IMMIGRATION Minister Elsworth Johnson said officials will investigate any documented allegations of abuse towards Haitian migrants. His comments to The Tribune came after a spokesman for the International Organisation for Migration told a local media outlet some Haitian
