TRIBUNE242.COM...TRIBUNE242.COM...TRIBUNE242.COM THE doors may be locked for most of us over the next five days - but there’s no need to be alone. Throughout this five-day lockdown we’ll be by your side bringing you every development in the virus crisis. The stores will be shut but Tribune242.com will be there 24/7. Our reporters and photographers will be on the case every hour chasing down the news that matters. Don’t put your trust in those social media sites who claim to break the news only to quietly drop the story a few hours later when it’s proved to be nonsense. There’s a reason The Tribune has been
around since 1903 - our readers trust us, governments trust us (they may not like us sometimes, but they know we have the nation’s interests at heart and seek only to publish the truth.) As the Prime Minister has said - we’ll get through this together. On Tuesday we’ll be back on the streets as normal. Hopefully the unprecedented shutdown will have had the desired effects and COVID-19 cases will soon be seen to drop off. We pray that’s the case. If not we know there’s more of the same each weekend for the rest of the month.
