$60M RESORT IN LINK TO US FRAUD Cat Island project’s promoters probed for oil and gas scheme By NEIL HARTNELL Tribune Business Editor nhartnell@tribunemedia.net THE government was last night urgently reviewing the legitimacy of a $60m Cat Island resort project after its principals were charged by US federal regulators with playing key roles in a multi-million dollar investment fraud. A spokesperson confirmed that the Almost Paradise development, due to have a virtual public hearing on its Environmental Impact Assessment next Tuesday, was being

Bahamians with immediate, short term and long-term goals for crime fighting. His comments came the day after he attended an urgent crime conclave called by Prime Minister Philip “Brave” Davis with key stakeholders to address the increase in murders. Mr Davis on Sunday was said to be readying to release greater details about his administration’s plan in the coming days. SEE PAGE THREE
