She told reporters there were concerns that âpolitical vicitimisationâ could ramp up as the next general election nears. The group was held at Central Police Station on
East Street North for several hours and questioned about the events that unfolded on March 3. âItâs been a very long day,â Mrs Komolafe said from the steps of the Central Police Station. Her husband, DNA members and supporters flanked her as scores of other supporters spilled into the street. Mrs Komolafeâs mother also flew in from a Family Island in a show of support for her daughter.

OFFICIALS at Baha Mar say things are definitely looking up for the resort as reservation numbers for Easter and spring break are exceeding those of 2019 with forward bookings for summer, fall and winter also looking good. Baha Mar, like other resorts in The Bahamas, had to close its doors and furlough staff when COVID-19 travel restrictions came into play. A 55-YEAR-OLD man became the countryâs latest murder victim after he was shot in the head and killed at his home on Wilson Track early yesterday morning. Police have not identified the victim, but family members said he is Carlos âBookieâ Brown, a father

according to this newspaperâs records. Assistant Superintendent of Police Audley Peters said shortly after 5am police received reports of a shooting incident in Wilson Track area off Wulff Road.
