His brand new shoe, “RAGS I AM BLESSED” is an innovation unlike any other. It comes with a NFT and a percentage of the “I AM BLESSED” single streams, allowing consumers to make residual income simply by wearing the shoe.

Music, Puma and Legacy

Plus, for every pair sold, he’s looking to give one away. The goal is to help 1,350 youth a year learn financial education and the importance of marketing. RAGS’ smart strategy is set to bridge the financial literacy gap in lower income neighborhoods and generate generational wealth. He has chosen to independently create custom shoes based on a desire to amplify and celebrate the Puma brand. RAGS states “Puma has always been at the forefront of racial justice and brand alignment with meaningful change, even before the George Floyd and DEI trends.” He chose Puma because of Jesse Owens, who in the face of Nazi beliefs, not only beat Hitler on his own turf at the 1936 Olympic Games, but did so in a pair of German-made shoes. Owens’ stunning triumph and Puma’s boldness is the inspiration for this project, and it’s a great way to honor him and other unsung heroes. RAGS continues, “It is my hope that through this work the legacy of famous torchbearers such as Jesse Owens, John Carlos, Tommie Smith and the array of unsung heroes will live on for generations.”
