This is the initial reaction of the students who experienced and disliked the idea of the experimental merging of classes as they marched around the PNU grounds and demand for a student consultation regarding the

matter, June 13. According to SG Pres. and Student Regent (SR) ArnoldJohn Bulanadi, the one-page proposal for the merging of classes did not undergo any consultation even from the faculty. Moreover, SG and other organizations were disappointed

regarding the experimental program and the improper process it underwent. “Nakakagulat talaga! Hinihingi lang natin sa admin na magkaroon ng consultation lalo na sa mga immediate na taong maapektuhan,” ANAKBAYAN Chairperson Roxanne Ricablanca expressed. Ricablanca also pointed out

that there are a lot of areas involved in this program, particularly the academic and financial conditions, and that the administration failed to recognize the condition of the students and professors who are the immediate affected people as regards the merging of classes. “Ang pagtingin namin dito ay hindi maganda dahil maraming aspekto ang sangkot. Nagiging at stake ang kalagayan ng mga estudyante at guro,” she said. SG officer and Filipino major Rhealyn Quing-quing San Jose shared her experience regarding the issue in an interview with The
