The Time Timer® Pizza Box Craft Activity Directions 1

Set a Time Timer® visual timer for 15 minutes and have your students write down some ideas on a piece of paper. Prompt them by asking the following questions: • • • •

What will your pizzeria be called? What kind of pizza will you make? What makes your pizza unique? How much will their pizza cost?

CREATE PIZZA AND BOX Now that your students have their ideas, set a Time Timer® visual timer for 30 minutes and have your students start creating. You can prompt them through the following steps: • • • • • • • •

Cut out a large circle of brown construction paper to be the crust Cut out a smaller circle of yellow construction paper with a wavy edge to be the cheese on the pizza. Use construction paper and a markers to create the pizza toppings Glue the pieces of your pizza together (Optional) Cut your pizza into slices. Glue a piece of paper to the top of the box Decorate the top of the box with your pizzeria logo Put your pizza in the box
