Gamja-tang (pork back-bone stew) is Your Woul restaurant’s specialty. This spicy gamja-tang is considered a traditional Korean dish which is hearty and rich in flavors, and the serving is good for 2 to 3 people. The hearty, complex taste of the rich broth which is made from boiled pork backbone, and the stew is assorted with vegetables such as cabbage, parsley, green onions and potatoes to titillate your taste buds. In particular, the restaurant grows the sesame leafs that go into the stew, and you can smell and taste the unique flavors. Once the gamja-tang starts to boil, the server would also consistently adjust the fire of the stove to maintain the temperature of the food. You could tell that the meat was cooked over a long period of time over a small fire, as they were very soft and came easily away from the bones.
