Kathleen Smith, 5th Year Senior, Alpha Tau/Cincinnati As Vice President of Finance for the University of Cincinnati’s Panhellenic Executive Board, Katie shared her experience as a business student to manage the Panhellenic Council’s $15,000 budget. Under her leadership, the council implemented a $400 merit-based scholarship for membership dues for deserving Panhellenic women. Katie began developing her leadership skills at Theta’s Emerging Leaders Institute in 2013, an experience she credits for helping her effect positive change as the CEO of the Alpha Tau Chapter. During her tenure as CEO, Alpha Tau received the Overall Premier Chapter award at UC and was recognized for having the highest GPA among all other fraternities and sororities on campus.

In 2015, Jessica was awarded a Damiano Fellowship from the Center for Prisoner Health and Human Rights and currently serves the organization as a Research Assistant in Prisoner Health Research. Already a leader in her field, she was invited to present her research at the Academic and Health Policy Conference on Correctional Health. Jessica is also the cofounder and project leader for the Prisoner Health: Re-entry, Education, and Empowerment Club, provides free yoga classes in her community, and was the youngest member ever chosen as a campus coordinator with Health Leads Providence, a national organization that provides social services to low-income families in hospitals and clinics.

Master of Business Administration degree in Marketing Sarah boasts an impressive résumé. She is currently the Communications Specialist/Public Sector Manager for Waste Management, Inc., and was honored as the 2014 Outstanding New Public Relations Practitioner by her local chapter of the Public Relations Society of America for her work. She also currently serves as the Marketing and Communication Committee Chairman for the Leadership Reno Sparks program, a group of local professionals engaged in a 10-month community engagement project. In addition to her professional and community service endeavors, Sarah is a dedicated servant leader for Theta, currently volunteering as a College District Director and as the Advisory Board Chairman for two college chapters. She has previously served as a Recruitment and Panhellenic District Director, President of the Reno Alumnae Chapter, and in various advisory roles for nine different college chapters. 33
