Priscilla is a leader in the classroom, on her campus, and for Theta. At Indiana University, she is pursuing a double major, is a member of the Hutton Honors College, and was selected as one of 16 members of IU Journalism’s Ernie Pyle Scholars Class of 2018. She exercises the widest influence for good through her work with Safe Sisters, a group of Panhellenic women trained by IU Health Center’s Sexual Assault Crisis Service counselors who serve as a resource for their chapters and educate the campus on sexual assault awareness and prevention. As CEO of Beta, she honed her leadership skills at the CEO Leadership Academy in January 2016, where she learned about being an authentic and bold leader. Learn more about the CEO Leadership Academy on page 14.

Cathy received her first Theta Foundation scholarship in 1984 as a collegian. Since completing her undergraduate degree more than 30 years ago, Cathy has received a master’s degree in Speech Pathology and has been honored as “Clinician of the Year” through her work as a SpeechLanguage Pathologist for a school corporation. She now specializes in the treatment of autistic children and is pursuing a degree in psychology to become a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst to better serve her students. Cathy’s family has a deep commitment to Kappa Alpha Theta and highest scholarship: her mother, Louise Wilke McCracken, was a member of Beta/ Indiana, and her sister, Virginia McCracken Vogel, is a fellow member of Alpha. Not only are Cathy’s daughters Rachel and Kathleen also members of Alpha, they are both previous recipients of Theta Foundation scholarships.

Many find pursuing a career in a STEM field to be challenging, but Stephanie excelled in her work as a Solutions Consultant for Google and YouTube even without a background in computer science. She served as the Treasurer of the Women of YouTube organization, encouraging local middleand high-school female students to study STEM, and as the corporate captain for the Google Triathlon Team, which raised over $160,000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society under her leadership. 31
