VOLUNTEERS WANTED? MAPS are voluntary organisation supporting vulnerable children and young people in the London Borough of Sutton. We are loo king for volunteer mentors to support a young person each week for up to a year, to be a listening ear and to give them space and time to unpack life. No qualifications are needed for this role. We are looking for volunteers who have a positive attitude towards children and young people and a desire to help them achieve their full potential. Someone who is a positive role model, patient, calm, a good listener and who is non-judgemental. Does this sound like you? If you have a couple of spare hours during the day, evenings or weekends why not use your skills to support a young person. Training will take place in Sutton on Friday 13 and Saturday 14 October 2017.
