Faure’s Requiem - Choir Service

Do you love to sing?

10 November 2019

Why not join the St Patrick’s Community Festival Choir for Christmas! You don’t need to be able to read music (although it helps if you can); the only requirements are to sing in tune and be enthusiastic. Rehearsals start Saturday 2 November at 9:15am in St Patrick’s Church, Wallington. For more information please contact the church office on 020 8773 0822 or by email: office@stpats.org.uk

Our evening remembrance service will be a performance of Faure’s Requiem with Trinity Festival Choir and an instrumental ensemble. As well as performing this well loved masterpiece, we will also be singing movements from Howards Goodall’s Eternal Light, a Requiem written in 2008 and music by Bob Chilcott, interspersed with reflective readings and poetry. All are welcome - there is no charge. 6:30pm. Free entry, retiring collection. Trinity Church, Cheam Road, Sutton, SM1 1DZ (opposite Sutton Library). www.trinitychurchsutton.org.uk
