Academic breaks can help prevent study fatigue and help keep students focused on their physical and mental health. These breaks allow them to refresh their minds and improve creativity and help them maintain their attention and regain motivation.

For students, it can be easy to burn themselves out while studying – spending hours working on an assignment or project without respite.

One courageous 3rd -year student from CHS pointed out that the school neglects the students' physical and mental health because they are rushing the enrolment schedule wherein students are still taking their final exams and finishing their requirements.

Despite the numerous conditions and exams to be completed, some students have personal problems that they could not deal with anymore.

The university's way of answering this issue is by sharing tips and guidelines to stay healthy mentally and physically, but that will not help the students.

Tips and guidelines are mere words; the students need help to ease their pain, like having an academic break. They even offered hotlines for students to call, but that was not enough to help the exhausted students.

In Saint Louis University, students trooped to their campus to call on the school administration for an "academic break." According to Mystica Rose Angelica Bucad, president of SLU's student government, the reported suicide of at least three students triggers the candlelight protest.

Meanwhile, in Phinma UPang, the SSC president addressed this issue to the courageous student by scolding and bragging about his achievements, which solved nothing.

Another thing also that is very evident to this day, was the motivational quotes being posted to social media pages, which doesn't solve anything at all.

Instead of showing empathy to the students regarding this matter, what we have is the enrollment for 2nd semester, which occurred on November 8, 2021.

What is the point of increasing the board rates of courses if the school cannot provide students enough rest to rejuvenate themselves to keep moving forward to success? Even successful people need a break to make sure that their progress is as smooth as it is lenient. Progressive.
