Commitment, Excellence, and Achievement – the formula of the College of Engineering and Architecture (CEA) in succeeding excellent results this school year 2021-2022.
On September 16, 2021, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released the Electrical Engineering Licensure Examinations list, including the proud Flames of PHINMA-UPang (First name, Middle Initial, Last name); Engr. Jordan S. Aquino, Engr. Christa Joy A. Arias, Engr. Prince Sam B. Bautista, Engr. Jim Samson T. Briones, Engr. Noel A. Casillan, Engr. Brando N. Naoe, A. Casillan, Engr. Brando N. Naoe, Engr. John Paul R. Sarmiento, Engr. Mark Jayson C. Narvasa, Engr. Renz John L. Quinto, Engr. JC A. Penullar, and Engr. Krisanto P. Toralba.
"We put strong emphasis on mathematical, scientific, engineering principles, and their applications in electrical engineering.
This is to adequately prepare the graduates to pass the requirements of becoming licensed electrical engineers." As stated by Dr. Gisela Jasmin Siapno, the Electrical Engineering department chairman, regarding the licensure examination preparations for September 2021.
Siapno also stated that the before pandemic and up until today, the whole department focuses on emerging application areas of electrical engineering to enhance the graduates' career opportunities.

Master Electricians: First time takers reached a 100 percent passing rate in RME licensure exams.
Dean John Zamora of CEA states the target rate of the department is to have at least an 80% passing rate on the board exams coming from the different colleges under CEA.
"We need good teachers. Sila ang backbone ng success natin." As also stated by Zamora, in highlighting the importance of teachers in nurturing the students to be the best version of themselves.
Other programs under CEA were able to hit a 100% passing rate this year, and this is what the university stands for.
We are always ready at all costs.
The subsequent licensure examination excites the department reigning the first batch of K-12 to take the big step in conquering the real world, having a lot of examiners to look forward to. For the latest update, Civil Engineering licensure exams occurred in November 2021.
