STAMP IT Services was asked by the Teaching and Learning Transformation Center to collaborate on the digital signage installed in Edward St. John, the first new academic building constructed on the mall in 50 years.

Working with their STAMP colleagues, STAMP IT Services piloted event tracking using card swipe technology in the fall and continues to work with the Division of Information Technology (DIT) and external vendors to have event attendance data available in OrgSync, the student participation platform, to provide staff with a better understanding of who participates in our programs and events.

STAMP IT Services provided critical support for the new Student Involvement Suite; when the initial subcontractor hired to complete the purchase and installation of technology equipment in the suite was unable to meet timeline requirements, STAMP IT Services outfitted the Suite on a limited deadline in preparation for the beginning of the fall semester. The OrgSync budget module was also piloted successfully, providing a single, central location from which student organization leaders can manage their organizations.

The unit also worked closely with the Division of Information Technology to provide direction and feedback on the campus transition to Office365, improving technology access and security across campus; the update of STAMP wireless access points, and server upgrades for WMUC to improve security.
