Cold and crisp weather, mince pies, Christmas lights, crackling fires... It’s that time of year again, but this year we’ve been rudely stripped from the excitement of Christmas fairs, carol concerts, loveydovey ice skating with your partner and buzzing family gatherings. Some may be even suffering with the fear that Christmas might be ‘cancelled’ all in all! Do you fancy getting that festive feel back? Do you want to enjoy all those seasonal activities you say you’ll do every year but never get round to? If so, welcome to the Lead Up to Christmas Challenge!

Day 1
An easy one to start…make a Christmas playlist to get those spirits up for the festive days to come!
Day 2
Write a letter to a loved one (or two or more) wishing them an extremely merry Christmas. It’s not easy for everyone at this time.
Day 3
done. Get ahead of the game! There are some brilliant sales out there!
Day 4
GET THAT TREE UP! It’s always this activity which seems fun as an idea in our heads but actually ends up being an enormous faff. Get it done!
Day 5
MINCE PIEEESSSSSSS!!! Make a batch of 12 scrumptious classic mince pies and get that festive taste back on your tongue.
Day 6
Get some mistletoe up! Romanceeeee must be sparked. There’s no time like now <3
Love Actually. If you haven’t seen it, you’ve been living under a rock.

Day 7
If you aren’t religious to it already after the months of lockdown, try out some yoga. Just 15 minutes can change your day completely!
Day 8
Christmas dance work out time…put on that playlist
Dare I say it…time to get that Christmas shopping
you should have made on day 1 and get a sweat on!
Day 9
Make your heart feel warm by donating just £5 to a charity of your choice.
Day 10
Time to get outside. Wrap up warm, whatever the weather, go on a winter walk!
Day 11
Watch your all-time favourite Christmas film!!! (If it’s not Love Actually you have been living under a rock)
Day 12
Focus on you. Maybe run a hot bath or sit down by a fire. Look back on the year, reflect on what has happened, what you feel proud of, what you feel like you can do better next year. Set some goals for the year ahead and enjoy the here and now.
