The run up to the annual excitement of the singer- vantage! You’ll have to be the judges of that. It songwriter’s group ‘Live Lounge’ concert, although won’t be long until you can feast your ears on the slightly different due to obvious circumstances, was products of our day and appreciate the hard work that just as stress overloaded and adrenaline-fuelled as goes on behind the scenes of the songwriter’s workevery year. We knew we had to be adaptable in this shop. You will also see a video that was made in situation. There was no way we would let the term go such a fashion that will show off these efforts. A by without showing off our song-writing skills to the huge well done to all of those who took part; let’s school and beyond. Luckily, with the wisdom of Mr hope for a proper Live Lounge in the not-tooTom Williams and Sir Joe Walsh, we were able to distant future! string together (no pun intended) a rather fantastic sound which will be available for everyone to hear soon. As ever, there were last minute changes of Elo Quitman, Year 13 Nugent House songs, broken guitar straps, loss of minds and rehearsal slots even more behind schedule than last year. But nevertheless, as we songwriters do, we pulled together some pieces unlike any heard before. Mimi Gould, Ella Parker, Willow McNulty, Ed Gent, Sav Winston, Elo Quitmann and Liv Jayaraj spent weeks writing, perfecting and ploughing through Spotify trying and find a cover that hadn’t been done before. The JWA was kitted out with mics, amps, leads, drums, lights, cameras, guitars, keyboards and more. From 2:45 to 7:45, James Grout did not stop playing the drums, stunning us with his talent as usual. Sanity didn’t deteriorate too quickly, though Tom began to make ‘knockknock’ jokes and Mr Laverack experienced an almost extreme sugar rush after indulging in too many vegan sweets. However, this did not affect his next-level piano keyboard playing. Every songwriter delivered a unique, refined and immensely impressive performance .

Talent reflected off every surface of the auditorium with the sounds of Coldplay, Fleetwood Mac, Felix Jaehn and other classics, but most importantly the breath-taking freshly written tunes that will be hard to forget.
