Reeves and School House Dinner On Saturday the 13th of November, all years from School and Reeves houses participated in their annual themed house dinners. This year the theme was seasons! Each year group and table was given a different theme and dressed up accordingly.
We enjoyed a lovely mocktail drink, and a delicious meal with S’mores for dessert. Throughout the meal, each table was challenged to a quiz, having to guess which movie each quote was from. At the end of the meal, Mr McVeigh challenged us all to a game of “left-hand, right-hand” which was also a general knowledge quiz and the last ones standing had to go On behalf of all the School House girls and Reeves up to the front. House boys, we’d like to say a massive thank you to all the teachers who took the time to organise the event, especially Mrs Whiddett, Mr McVeigh and Miss Gordon. Also a big thank you to all the kitchen staff for our delicious meal. Overall, it was a great night and the perfect opportunity to mix with other year groups and houses.
Our eyes were blessed as we watched teachers and pupils with the best costumes strut down the middle of the dining room (aka the runway.) The winners were chosen by the loudest cheer, with Mr Cox, Zizi and Kia taking the win, all with standing ovations. Lily Moore and Freddie Buckingham, School House, Year 12
