HOUSE REPORTS
Blackwater House Report This term has been jam-packed full of events in which the girls have participated and some of which they have won. House Tennis saw Emma Lewis, Stephanie Viera, Emma Folwell and Amber Blake take Blackwater to the finals where they scored a respectable second place after School. Lyra Ellwood and Stephanie Viera took Blackwater to the final of the debating competition and won first place! A huge congratulations goes to them both in taking the edge from School House with the question: This house believes that all museums, galleries, and cultural institutions in colonizer countries should immediately return exhibits to their countries/communities of origin. Blackwater were the opposing motion.
A group of Year 10 girls played a game of rounders on College Field along with some boys, organised by Miss Simmons. On a separate occasion, the Year 9s played against School House.
A group of girls competed in Interhouse Swimming with Blackwater coming 1st in the senior girls, 4th in the junior girls and 2nd overall. House Fives saw the girls take victory over the other houses, so a huge congratulations goes to them too. Blackwater is delighted to announce that our new Head of House is…. Mimi
