Celebrating our moms...

This Mother’s Day season, our clinics celebrated the strength and beauty of motherhood with special events for clients and community members. In Spring Branch, clinic staff hosted a heartfelt devotional and painting lesson, creating a peaceful space for reflection and creativity. Moms from our TMC clinic were treated to a special day at the Chinese Church of Houston, where they enjoyed lunch, made corsages, and received facials. Meanwhile, our Austin clinic opened its doors for a joyful fiesta-themed open house, complete with refreshments and a raffle. Congratulations to the expecting mom who won a beautiful pink Coach bag!

The Source Education programs expand!

At The Source, our Health Education programs continue to make a powerful impact on individuals and families. Through classes in pregnancy, parenting, fatherhood, and life skills, we’re equipping clients with the tools they need to thrive in every stage of life. Whether it’s preparing for a new baby, learning to coparent effectively, or building confidence through emotional and financial wellness, these sessions are meeting people where they are and helping them grow stronger for the journey ahead.

Our Sexual Risk Avoidance Education (SRAE) program is also expanding, reaching even more students and parents across the state. What began in Austin has now grown into the Houston area, empowering young people to make informed, healthy decisions about relationships and their future. We’re excited to launch a new layout on our website this Summer, making it easier than ever to learn, connect, and take the next step to engage with our educators.

We are excited to introduce Michael Fuentes, our new head of Development and Donor Relations at The Source!

With a professional background in financial services, Michael spent years leading business development and corporate strategy. During that time, he also led his organization's philanthropic efforts—an experience that awakened a deep passion to help underserved communities in a more direct and transformative way.

Raised in inner-city Washington, D.C., and later moving to Houston’s Greenspoint area in 1998, Michael has always had deep roots in communities that are often overlooked. He is excited to help further our mission of serving women and families and connect with like-minded donors and partners. His life and leadership are shaped by his own journey, one that includes being found by Christ.

Outside of his new role, Mike loves to spend time with his beautiful wife and son, Melissa and Niko.

While Austin gears up for the biggest fundraiser of the year, Houston is doubling down for vulnerable women and their families! Thanks to a generous donor, every dollar given to The Source this Summer will be matched, dollar for dollar, up to $125,000. We have already raised $30,000 of our matching goal! Double down and give
