This little piggy went to the farmers market…

Yup. We said it. But, seriously, aren’t the piglets on the cover of our 14th annual High Desert Food and Farm Directory the cutest?

We hope our 2025 Directory is your go-to place to find all the ways to indulge your senses in all things raised, grown, baked, cooked, or produced in Central Oregon. You’ll discover ways to SMELL flowers and lavender; SEE all the booths at our wonderful farmers markets and incredible landscape views while visiting local farms and ranches; TOUCH a pumpkin to pick and take home; HEAR music at a winery, farm, or ranch; and TASTE! Oh – the things you will TASTE as you partake in all the incredible offerings presented in this guide!

We couldn’t produce this directory without the support of our sponsors. We thank them and encourage you to do the same - this publication wouldn’t be possible without them!

HDFFA believes everyone deserves good food. Please use this directory year-round as your guide to where you can find locally sourced good food in Central Oregon. If you want to share your thoughts with us, we welcome hearing from you!

Grow & Give

What if you could reduce food waste and help your neighbors experiencing food insecurity at the same time? HDFFA aims to do both through our Grow & Give program! We collect fresh, locally-grown produce that would otherwise go to waste and bring it to NeighborImpact (our regional food bank) and other hunger relief organizations.

10 YEARS OF GROW & GIVE

Since 2016, HDFFA has collected 214,121 pounds of produce through:

• On Farm Gleans

• Farmer & Community Donations at our Farmers Market Booths

• Community Gardens

• Donations from Community Members

10 Years of Grow & Give

HDFFA is committed to supporting Central Oregon farmers who participate in Grow & Give through reimbursement for gleaned produce. To date, Grow & Give has paid farmers over $79,000 through this program.

We welcome your support to ensure this program continues into our next 10 years: hdffa.org/donate

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

Please contact growandgive@hdffa.org if you:

• Have a farm or community garden and would welcome HDFFA’s glean team to collect produce.

• Have extra produce from your garden that you would like to donate by dropping it off at HDFFA’s booth at the Downtown Bend, Sisters, or Northwest Crossing Farmers Markets.

• Reach out if you have other creative ideas to grow, collect, and redistribute local, nutritious produce to our community.

THANK YOU TO OUR 2025 GROW & GIVE PARTNERS:
