Peak Plans for 2022 Our Warehouse & Distribution division is ready to contribute to our BUILD goal – Increase Headcount – by maximizing our peak business.

The Marketing Peak Plan: 2,000 new, unique applicants (needed to start 1,500 associates)

DIGITAL ADVERTISING If a Columbus resident is searching online for any type of Warehouse or Distribution position, chances are they are going to see Dawson in their search - we’ll come up at the top of their search lists and follow them around with ads utilizing testimonial video until they apply.

COMMUNITY CHAMPIONS SPOTLIGHT

Insights from Our #dawsome Interns DALTON BROWN During my time at Dawson, I have really enjoyed being a part of the recruiting team and interacting with job seekers on a daily basis.

I have learned many useful skills, including innovation – by turning a trash can into a portable watering bucket – how to be a speedy bar back, and to not eat lunch in my car.

Alaina Mitchell is Coaching for a Special Cause

Getting involved as a volunteer coach for the Special Olympics always made sense for Alaina because it combined two of her greatest passions: sports and helping others.

Volunteering my time to put smiles on the faces of my team (even when they miss a lay-up) has been the best experience.

Alaina began coaching last fall for the Columbus Comets women’s basketball team. With a playbook of secret handshakes, foul-shot dances, and an epic Bruno Mars soundtrack, she led the Comets to the Winter Games State Tournament.

All 12 players on her team scored a point to win the semi-final game, and the Comets finished the tournament by earning silver medals and a big trophy as State Runner-Ups! Alaina will be coaching the team again this fall with games starting in November, and this year the Comets will be going for gold.

MORGAN GRIFFITH My time at Dawson is truly one to remember. I have learned so much about relationships, marketing strategy, and research.

I am so happy to be here, and I am grateful for all of my experiences here.

I have the learned the most valuable lesson, how to pack a cooler. I will take this life skill with me throughout college and the rest of my life.

NICK AUGENSTEIN This time around has been more enjoyable and impactful.

The sequel is always better than the original!

Part of me thinks that the one of the reasons I was invited back for another summer is so people could take my money in the golf pool again.

RYLEE ANSPACH Being an intern at Dawson has taught me how to jump right into things and learn quickly.

It has also shown me that the workplace doesn’t always have to be so serious, you can have some fun occasionally.

As the only person here at Dawson under 21, you never really know how far away from the legal drinking age you are until we do all of the fun events and happy hours at the office!
