A NEW CHAPTER

75 Years Still Brings Change and Growth.

Dawson’s success over the last 75 years is largely due to the willingness to embrace change with innovation and opportunities.

The company has gone through many significant changes throughout its history – new divisions, closing locations, business acquisitions – all in an effort to continually pivot the business for optimal success.

Dawson started the healthcare division in 2003 and has experienced unprecedented success over the last 18 years. The division’s success sparked the interest of Aya Healthcare – a leader in healthcare staffing. In addition to being the largest travel nursing agency, Aya also provides allied health, per diem, and locum staffing as well as software for vendor management, float pool management, and workforce management.

After significant consideration, Dawson has sold the MSP healthcare division to Aya. We know this will result in a positive outcome for all parties – the MSP healthcare team, Dawson, and Aya. Our business and our Colleagues are in good hands. Aya’s culture aligns similarly with Dawson’s – putting people at the center of everything they do. Aya will provide significant support to the growth of

Dawson healthcare and to the team, with endless resources.

Even though we have sold our healthcare business, that doesn’t change our service offerings. Dawson is still a workforce solutions company, offering Job Placements, HR Management Solutions, and Community Workforce Programs. Our MSP business was built on healthcare clients, and even though they are no longer a part of our portfolio, we still have the opportunity to sell our MSP to any company outside of the healthcare industry. We are also still able to staff our healthcare clients with any positions that aren’t clinical.

At the annual meeting we announced our 2021 goal: Growth is still the goal. That is still our focus. Growing our internal team and growing our brand awareness by capitalizing on our service offerings, so we can grow our sales by servicing the premier employers in the communities we serve.

Q1 was a strong, exciting, and eventful start to our anniversary year, with solid sales and lots of new hires. Even though we had to say goodbye to a large part of our history, we are looking forward to our future.

Aya Healthcare Acquires Dawson Healthcare Aya Healthcare has agreed to acquire Columbus, OH-based Dawson Healthcare, Dawson’s managed services division. Dawson Healthcare will maintain independent operations as a whole-house workforce solutions provider. Dawson will continue to provide workforce solutions for nonclinical staffing clients. The acquisition is expected to close on May 16.

Aya Healthcare is a travel nurse and allied staffing firm, as well as a provider of locums, per diem, and nonclinical staffing. Dawson is a workforce solutions company offering job placements, human resource management solutions, and community workforce programs. Its staffing and recruiting divisions place job seekers in temporary, temporary-to-hire, and full-time jobs in a variety of nonclinical fields.
