Nestled in Perthshire, between Perth and Dundee, Silverwood Resort was the location of our styled shoot last month. Not only is there a beautiful barn that can accommodate up to 200 guests, there are a number of luxury lodges on site for wedding guests Members Sue Artistry and Kirsty Macpherson were on hand for makeup and hair.

Thank you to all the amazing wedding suppliers who joined us. Photographer Sky brought Silverwood to life with her fine art style photography. Showcasing the beautiful barn at Silverwood.

Green Cockatoo Events supplied the decor, we wanted something a bit different to fit the style of our shoot, we didn’t want to do the standard wedding styled shoot. With gold detail on the champagne glasses and the mismatched tablewear, it all fitted together perfectly

Caroline from Cora Stitch provided the stunning dresses that complimented the whole vibe

Steph from Cherry Blossom Cakes was on hand again with her gorgeous cakes and edible favours.

The bouquets from Ginger and Blossom finished off the whole vibe and look with her beautiful floral creations.

Model Jo was effortlessly beautiful once again really helping to pull the shoot together

Joining us on the shoot was Cristian from CS Scotland who provided us with videography to ensure we didn’t miss any of the details when we were out and about around SIlverwood finding all the best spots.

Mel from Venus Content was on hand catching all the fab behind the scenes details and the getting ready prep.

Members Sue and Kirsty brought the whole shoot together with their creativity Kirsty is a Hair and Makeup Artist based in Perth

With over 20 years in the industry and hundreds of weddings behind her Kirsty has a background working for Clarins UK and training from one of London's top hair and make up schools, and contracts with the BBC and celebrity bookings too.

My now husband and I held our wedding at Silverwood on the 23rd of September I cannot recommend Silverwood and its staff enough Our wedding was an absolute dream from start to finish We had taken all 19 lodges for the full weekend and all guests were made to feel welcome. The lodges are beautiful and well equipped with everything you need.

Our lodge had the Spa bath which was a treat after our wedding. Everyone commented on how beautiful the venue was We had pre wedding drinks on the Friday night along with a pizza van all organised by Jacqui and it was just the perfect chilled atmosphere we wanted for the night before our wedding. Jacqui and her team did such a fantastic job of making sure our wedding day was ran with military precision.

A few hiccups were thrown our way on the day of the wedding but Jacqui handled them perfectly so as not to affect our day, so much so that we didn’t even notice. On the Sunday, we had a sports day for all the kids and adults on Silverwood’s fantastic lawn followed by some food and drinks outside the barn. Our full weekend was exactly what we wanted and Jacqui and her team were on hand for whatever we needed but also were not over bearing and left us to do our own thing on the Sunday which was perfect If you are looking for somewhere for your Wedding that is stunningly beautiful and has a relaxed atmosphere with a great team on hand, please go and see this venue straight away. You will not be disappointed.

Thanks again to all Silverwood team, it really was the best weekend of our lives and we will be back Rooms: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Location: 5/5

We had our wedding at Silverwood on 25th May and the day was perfect. Jacqui and her team made the venue look amazing, and we had many comments from our guests saying it was the perfect venue. The food was delicious and the portions were good, and the drinks were reasonably priced Jacqui was very helpful in the run up to the day, and on the day she made things run seamlessly.

recommend it enough. From the first viewing right up until the main day Jacqui was just fantastic. Nothing was ever too much for her and she made the whole experience one we will never forget As a wedding planner myself I found it hard to hand over the reins but I can honestly say Jacqui and the team knocked it out the park.

We had a lot of guest staying onsite and they couldn’t rate the accommodation and the staff highly enough. The food and the service on the day was just outstanding and everything just went like clockwork Once again guys thank you for making our special day one we will never ever forget. We will see you soon. Hayley & Saul oh and of course Leo.

We found Silverwood by chance and it was perfect for our wedding in July 23. Such a great setting and location. Jacqui kept us right with all the planning and always there to reassure and give advice when needed The events space is just incredible, photos don’t do it justice Amanda was fantastic keeping on top of the accommodation bookings and looking after our lodge guests. The lodges are just lovely calming and relaxing spaces. A huge shoutout to the bar staff on the day of the wedding were all awesome!!! Massive thank you to everyone at Silverwood!!! Highly recommend

Could you share your journey in becoming a wedding photographer and What inspired you to specialise in weddings?

I see wedding photography as a way to document life and expressions of love, it is a privilege to capture that moment in time when couples choose to make an official declaration of their commitment to each other.

My journey began as a portrait photographer, which naturally led me to capturing couples.

Q&A WITH SKY PHOTOGRAPHY

I’ve always been fascinated by people and strive to capture beauty in candid momentsmoments that reveal who they are and tell the story of their love.

The challenge lies in balancing the act of observation and making everyone comfortable around you by being a gentle guide throughout the day. That’s where the excitement comes in; thinking on my feet, staying fully present, and balancing both the creative and technical aspects to produce my best work

Do you have experience with Scottish weddings specifically?

All my wedding experiences to date have been in Scotland, but I’m open to destination weddings

Since I already travel extensively, I welcome enquiries for weddings abroad My experience across different locations and venues has made me highly adaptable, allowing me to work seamlessly in various settings, whether an intimate elopement in the Highlands or a grand celebration in a historic venue.

Every location has its own vibe, and I am constantly refining how I work with the lighting, landscapes to better my composition in capturing the overall atmosphere. That’s part of what I love about photography there’s always something new to adapt to.

When I’m not deep in wedding season, I’m usually working on fashion and editorial shoots, which gives me an opportunity to continuously seek improvement in my photography. It all feeds into each other, making every shoot feel fresh and exciting

How would you describe your photography style? Can you adapt your style to suit different couples’ preferences?

My style is painterly and elegant, influenced by my background in fine art and inspired by great painters of the Dutch Golden Age, such as Vermeer and Rembrandt.

By following pockets of light and shadow, I create imagery that is both artistic and infused with editorial elegance I’m always open to couples’ ideas and enjoy working within a brief.

To understand their vision, I often ask them to describe their ideal wedding day in two or three words. This helps me capture the mood and essence they envision, ensuring their photographs feel personal and meaningful.

How do you prepare for a wedding shoot? Do you visit the venue beforehand?

I keep a detailed file for every couple, starting from our initial video call, which includes key moments they want captured and their exact plans to ensure I stay on schedule.

If I’m photographing a venue for the first time, I make it a priority to visit beforehand - either the day before if travel is involved or, for adventure elopements in the Highlands, I plan locations months in advance While weddings always bring unexpected moments, I leave as little to chance as possible in my preparation, allowing me to focus on capturing the day seamlessly.

What’s your process for working with couples during the planning stage? How do you ensure their vision is captured?

I take the time to identify the most important aspects of a couple’s wedding, allowing me to focus on key moments and people throughout the day

If they’re looking for a more editorial style but have little experience in front of the camera, I create a mood board based on our shared vision. This includes simple pose ideas as a fallback, providing a helpful visual reference. However, my approach is always to keep things as natural and in-the-moment as possible, offering gentle guidance while allowing authentic emotions to shine through.

What is your approach to capturing candid moments versus posed photos? How do you balance these during a wedding?

I’m always observing my surroundings, positioning myself to capture the best angle. If I catch a meaningful moment out of the corner of my eye, I might ask someone to repeat the actionkeeping it natural while ensuring it’s beautifully captured.

When working one-on-one with a couple, I guide them to a flattering or scenic location and let them interact naturally Whether they are quite relaxed or have more extroverted energy, I match my energy to theirs and adjust my guidance cues. This allows me to capture them authentically, just as they are in that moment

How do you collaborate with other vendors, such as hair and makeup artists, on the wedding day?

I always make sure to capture close-up shots of the makeup process and final look, which is great for both the couple’s memories and the artist’s portfolio.

If needed, I’ll give real-time feedback on how the makeup translates on camera, especially under flash It’s all about teamwork to create a stress-free, enjoyable experience for the bride and bridal party

If there’s a videographer on site, I make sure we’re not getting in each other’s shots by communicating throughout the day

It’s also helpful to discuss ideas for the couple’s portraits beforehand so we’re in sync, ensuring everything flows smoothly and the couple gets the best of both photography and video.

What is your post-production process like? How long does it typically take to deliver the final photos?

Final photos are delivered within an 8-week window For a full day wedding the couple can expect up to 500 creatively edited images. Some packages include a 48 hour preview of a small selection of images they can share after their big day

Do you offer any additional services, such as albums or prints? How do you help couples choose the right options?

Yes! I offer high-quality, premium heirloom albums that are beautifully crafted These albums feature the finest cotton rag paper with a subtle texture, printed with archival ink to ensure deep blacks and vibrant colours. They are perfect for couples who appreciate a one-of-a-kind book designed to last for generations.

For those who prefer individual prints over a full album, I also offer a curated set of A4 and A3 fine art prints - ideal for framing and displaying cherished moments. What advice do you have for couples choosing a wedding photographer? What questions should they ask?

Make sure you fully understand the booking process, including deposits, contracts, and what’s included in the package you’re booking. If the photographer works with associate photographers or videographers, this can be a great option for larger weddings, as having two photographers can provide more coverage. Most packages will have this information stated, so don’t be afraid to ask if things can be tailored, or if you are not clear about something.

You can get a good sense of a photographer’s style by looking at their website, so if you like what you see, feel free to voice your creative ideas.

For example, if you prefer blackand-white imagery over colour or want a certain balance between light and moody shots, let them know! They should be open to making adjustments based on your preferences

Most importantly, make sure you connect with your photographer and that they truly understand your vision. The better they get a sense of your style and what you want, the better your experience and photos will be.

How can couples best prepare for their wedding photos? Any tips for looking and feeling their best?

I believe it’s best to focus on each other, and everything else will fall into place. It’s natural to feel a bit tense with a camera in front of you, but by staying present and thinking about your partner or the excitement of the day ahead, you’ll feel more relaxed, and your true emotions will shine through in the photos.

What has been your most memorable wedding experience in Scotland? What made it special?

The light - it is a photographer’s dream. Scotland is known for its unpredictable weather, but that’s what makes it so special. The changing conditions create drama and atmosphere that you won’t find in many other places. We’re all at the mercy of the weather, but that unpredictability allows us to work with it and capture something truly magical.

One of my most memorable shoots was in Aberfoyle, by a waterfall in the woods. It was overcast when we arrived at golden hour, but for about 20 minutes, that golden light broke through the tree branches, transforming the scene into something straight out of a Tolkien story or fairytale. It added that extra touch of magic to the images.

How do you ensure your work remains unique and personalised for each couple?

Every couple has their own charm and quirks, and I love bringing out their personalities in my photography. Even when shooting at the same venue, each wedding has a completely different atmosphere, which is shaped by the couple’s unique energy. The magic is in the little details; their values, their connection… and I focus on capturing those elements to make their story truly their own

Q&A WITH CAROLINE FROM CORA STITCH

What inspires your designs?

As I am a bespoke designer what inspires me is my clients, their likes and dislikes and what makes them joyful and get excited

I am fascinated by nature with the delicate weaves of leaves, water and the colours around us, and I always draw inspiration from it.

What is the most unique request you’ve ever received?

Do you offer customisation options for brides who want to add personal touches to their dresses?

Bespoke dressmaking is all about custom, as it is designed entirely for you. You are the inspiration, the design, and the pattern, which is created with your measurements. We choose the fabrics together. That's what I love about bespoke: It is so personal, when you are wearing probably one of the most expensive and significant garments in your life, how wonderful it is to have it made for you.

Among the clients I've had so far, the most unique requests involve colour dyes that I have created exclusively for them: one is a beautiful dusky sea shade, and the other is inspired by a client's favourite flower

What types of fabrics and materials do you prefer to use in your designs, and why?

I am a big fan of 100% silk fabrics with a sheen that is very hard to replicate, and if you have chosen a design you want to look at wearing again, silk is a wonderful fabric to colour dye.

I am most fond of silk chiffon; when you watch chiffon in movement, there's nothing quite like it

What are the current trends in wedding dress design that brides should be aware of?

Corset silhouettes, like 17th-century stays and cupped long-line corsets, seem to be big this year. I come from a costume background, so this is very much along the wave length of things I love to create.

To be honest, I take trends with a pinch of salt. While it's good to have inspiration, I would not let them rule your decisions. It's all about injecting your own personality and just staying true to what feels right for you alone.

What advice do you have for brides when choosing a dress that suits their body type and personal style?

I would look at your wardrobe. Is there an outfit that has always made you happy and comfortable? What about it makes you feel at ease? Is it the silhouette, the weight of it, the neckline, the colour, or a pattern?

I am not suggesting you choose what you want to wear as an everyday outfit, but identifying aspects that can make you comfortable can really assist when creating a design that feels like you

How can brides ensure they feel comfortable and confident in their wedding dress throughout the big day?

First, select a design that you genuinely enjoy wearing. When you love your outfit, even if you are not the most confident person, your excitement shines through.

With any shapewear items, bring them to your fittings as they can impact how your outfit fits and try to wear them for the full amount of time you would on your wedding day On my wedding day, I wore a shapewear slip under my dress but took it off before dinner because I was uncomfortable – I should have tried it beforehand!

designing a wedding dress?

As it is designed for each individual, it is important to understand truly what they are looking for. The client to have faith that, yes, the dress does not exist yet, but they should also embrace the opportunity to be involved in the design process as it evolves into reality and find excitement in that.

Sometimes, that doesn't feel right for someone, and that's okay; it just means the bespoke option is not for them.

What steps do you take to ensure your wedding dresses are produced sustainably and ethically?

My dresses are created by hand solely by me, so you can be assured that no one has been exploited in the creation process. I only buy fabrics for each individual project to minimise fabric waste, and I use any leftover pieces for other items The British fabric houses I buy from are trying to maintain an ethical system with the manufacturers. I also have a contact for a manufacturer who creates silk fabrics in the UK.

How important is sustainability in the bridal fashion industry, and how is it evolving?

The value placed on clothing creates a contradiction compared to its true cost, especially with fashion brands like Sh**n, which sell items for pennies You know that somewhere along the line, someone is being exploited to cut costs and create a mass volume of clothing to keep lower fabric costs, but how much clothing waste is generated by that?

For me, the most sustainable options are to:

- Shop second-hand (bear in mind that your alteration costs may be double the price of your dress, bridal seamstresses aim to get minimum wage and bridal alterations are time consuming)

- Support a dressmaker in creating a bespoke option for you

When it comes to bridal fashion, creating a dress is far more detailed and technical and involves a lot of fabric. It is hard for bridal brands at times when it is mentioned that it’s too expensive when, in reality, the true cost may be much higher, but are consumers willing to pay for it?

- If you choose off the rack, research the company and see if they create solely to order and their workers are fairly paid.

MAKEUP MASTERCLASS Edinburgh

MASTERCLASS WITH AUSRA

July last year was our first ever Members only Makeup Masterclass with the talented Ausra Ruksene. Ausra travelled from London where she is a top rated Freelance Makeup Artist and Hair Stylist as well as being a Tutor at the Kristina Gasperas Academy. I have trained with Ausra before so I knew I had to try and get Ausra back to Scotland for an exclusive Directory Members Makeup Masterclass.

Held at the beautiful Melville Castle just outside of Edinburgh, the day was a full fun packed day of makeup and training where Ausra shared her top tips and techniques that have elevated her career as a sought after artist who travels all over Europe for her Brides

Photography by Moments By Alexandra

Can you tell us a little about yourself and how you got started in the wedding hair and makeup industry?

It’s hard to sum it up quickly! I left the corporate world to train as a makeup artist when I was 26 to study makeup at Clydebank College for 3 years I didn’t have a specific makeup job in mind and fell into a salon based role in 2014

I had done makeup for some of my friends weddings before, but when my regular clients from the salon started getting married, I completely fell in love with weddings. I left the salon on New Year’s Eve 2017 to focus solely on weddings and haven’t looked back!

IMAGE STEVIE KYLE PHOTOGRAPHY

How many years have you been working as a wedding hair and makeup artist?

I’ve been doing wedding makeup for 10 years now and added wedding skincare services around 5 years ago. I’ve dabbled in hair ups since my training away back in the 2010s and will be including this in an elopement package I’ll be launching this year!

Can you describe the range of services you offer to brides and bridal parties?

Sure! My primary service is makeup and I'm an airbrush makeup specialist. This is a way of applying face makeup in a lightweight, build able mist. It's a strange one to explain if you haven’t experienced it! It gives you a feeling of not wearing makeup, even if you go for full glam! Around 5 years ago I started offering facial treatments and skin care advice as I was getting asked it about so often by brides. It's grown from personalised classic facials to now include Hydrofacial, chemical peels and dermaplaning amongst other specialised treatments.

When a bride books with me, I send them a 20% discount that can be used as often as they like and by anyone they choose to share it with, up until the wedding day This means the bride is in control of how and when they build their skincare treatment plan. I'm based in a private studio in the southside of Glasgow. It's my little home away from home and I encourage my brides to think of it as theirs too. I love having whole bridal parties in before their hen do so they can choose their own music and have a really personalised experience. At the same time, it can be a quiet sanctuary where my brides can shut the stress of wedding plan out for a while and treat themselves I’ve loved doing hairstyling since I trained in college a million years ago.

I stopped doing hair ups for weddings as bridal parties have increased in numbers in the last 10 years and it’s a lot easier to have separate artists for each now I’ll be adding hairstyling pack in to my services this year as I’ll be launching an elopement package which will include hair, makeup, wedding trial and travel up to 3 hours drive from Glasgow.

Where

do you find inspiration for your work?

A lot of the inspiration for my work comes from nature Living in Scotland in such a blessing for a nature lover, we have so much access to woodland, beautiful beaches and lots of florals. When I tell people I focus on natural makeup it can sometimes be synonymous with boring but when we look at our surroundings, there are lots of bright and interesting colours and textures there. I like to try and include this type of variety but keep it feeling organic

I’m also obsessed with skin! I love all the physical aspects of our skin, whether we’re told to like them or not. I love the skin's natural texture, freckles, redness and don’t believe we should try to hide these if we don’t want to. I take huge inspiration from my clients and encourage them to tell me what they like about themselves so we can enhance it and make them feel super confident I recently had a bride who had naturally very rosy cheeks She was worried I’d cover them up but we decided to have a very sheer layer of foundation over the apples of her cheeks so her natural colour would shine through. It was gorgeous!

Can you walk us through your typical process when working with a bride from the initial consultation to the wedding day?

When a bride contacts me, I’ll direct them to the enquiry form on my website. The form makes sure I don’t miss any important details, and it also automatically pencils the date in to my diary as a TBC event. Like most other wedding suppliers, I can’t hold the date until it’s booked but this system means its impossible to double book AND I can see who requested the date first and give them first refusal Once the enquiry form is completed I’ll send the bride a link to book a video consultation so we can have a chat about the wedding and they can ask any questions about how I work or what I do. After the call I’ll send out an official quote via email, if a client wants to book then they click a button on the quote which automatically sends them the contract and payment link for the deposit When a client is officially booked with me, they’ll receive a welcome email from me which includes a link to their personalised online portal The portal includes a timeline of when to expect to hear from me and all their important documents (invoice, contracts, etc). I also send them an invitation to book a free skincare consultation with me either in person or over zoom. I send them some skincare goodies in the post and a 20% discount code to share with their family and friends with unlimited use until the wedding day

Around four months before the wedding I invite each client to book their trial. The pictures are then uploaded to their portal and I email over any specifics we’ve discussed This usually includes a schedule for the wedding morning and my mobile number for emergencies. 2-7 days before the wedding I’ll either call or email the client to confirm times, check in with their plans and just re-assure them that everything will be smooth sailing.

Then it’s the wedding day! I’ll turn up a bit early, drink lots of coffee and do some beautiful, flawless makeups! I always stay until the bride is ready to leave I love getting to see the whole look coming together and I get a chance to take some lovely photos.

Do you have any memorable experiences or success stories you’d like to share?

This year I won Best Wedding Makeup Artist at the 2025 Confetti Awards! I’ve never had the courage to put myself forward for an award before so I’m over the moon and in a little disbelief to have won. I put a lot of my heart in to my work and genuinely care so much about giving all my clients an experience they’ll remember for a lifetime Winning this award felt like that was really being recognised and validated

What advice do you have for brides who are in the process of choosing their wedding hair and makeup artist?

I would say, try and get a clear idea of the type of look you want and the type of energy you want your makeup artist to have Your hair and makeup artists and your photographer are a huge part of the vibe of your wedding morning so it’s important to choose people that you can be completely comfortable and relaxed with, whether that’s a party vibe or a chilled morning.

Look for artists that specialise in the type of look you want For me, it’s natural makeup and enhancing natural features For other artists it’s full glam or lots of colour. The best makeup is the makeup you feel confident in, and there’s an artist out there that's perfect for you.

Do you have a favourite wedding location in Scotland where you’ve worked?

Aw man, I hate this question! People always ask this! I really don’t have a favourite at all. I love the barns, I love the country houses, I love the quirky DIY venues and cool city hotels. I think the running theme of the places I love the most is that they’re significantly out the way. If there’s a venue that I have to drive 2 hours through the Scottish countryside to, I’ll jump at it! I’m based in Glasgow but I’ve had weddings in Inverness, Melrose, Arran and would like to go even further into the Highlands and Islands

What do you love most about working in the wedding industry in Scotland?

I love the diversity of the industry as a whole. The fact that a couple can celebrate their marriage absolutely anywhere here (with the owners permission) means that it can be so meaningful and personal People travel here from all over the world to get married because we live in such a beautiful country. On top of that, we have marriage equality and so many LGBTQI+ wedding suppliers. It really feels like everyone and every love is welcome and celebrated here. It makes me really proud to be a part of that.

One of the key elements to achieving that flawless look is selecting the right foundation. If you are opting to do your own makeup on the day, then you will likely be on the look out for a holy grail foundation

Our members share their favourite foundations that they reach for all the time.

Here’s a comprehensive guide to help you choose the perfect foundation that complements your skin type, offers the desired coverage, and stands the test of time.

Types of Foundation

Understanding Your Skin Type

Before selecting a foundation, it's crucial to understand your skin type as it will determine the kind of foundation that suits you best:

Oily Skin: Opt for a matte foundation to help control shine throughout the day.

Dry Skin: A hydrating formula will keep your skin looking supple and fresh.

Normal/Combination Skin: You might find a variety of options work well, depending on the finish you prefer.

The sheer variety of foundations available can be overwhelming. Here’s a breakdown of the most common types:

Liquid Foundation: Offers a natural, dewy finish, ideal for dry or normal skin.

Powder Foundation: Provides a matte finish, making it perfect for oily skin

Cream Foundation: Hydrating and offers a dewy finish, suitable for dry skin.

Stick Foundation: Convenient for on-the-go application and great for touch-ups

Achieving the Right Coverage

The Role of Primer

Using the right primer with your foundation is essential to ensure it lasts all day. It's important to match the base of your primer with your foundation:

Silicone-Based: Look for ingredients like silicone or dimethicone near the top of the list.

Water-Based: These ingredients will appear further down the list

Avoiding Oxidation

Foundation oxidation can be a concern, as it may cause your foundation to darken over time. If you love a foundation prone to oxidation, consider selecting a slightly lighter shade to counteract this effect

Expert Recommendations

Our community of beauty experts has shared their favorite foundations:

Amerz Beauty Basics: Nars, Illamasqua, Lord & Berry, and Charlotte Tilbury for varying coverage needs

Rachel Spence: Charlotte Tilbury for its blendability and photogenic qualities.

Personal Favourites: Makeup by Mario Surreal Skin is ideal for dry skin with good coverage, while Delilah Cosmetics Time Frame is perfect for mature skin Armani Luminous Silk is a staple among makeup artists and celebrities alike

Final Thoughts

Selecting the right foundation for your wedding day is a personal decision that depends on your skin type, desired coverage, and the longevity you're aiming for Remember to do a trial run before the big day to ensure your foundation not only feels good on your skin but also looks stunning in photographs. With the right foundation, you’ll shine with confidence as you walk down the aisle.

Wildmint Cosmetics

Have you tried Wildmint Cosmetics? I was invited to try their Clear Skin 5 step set and give my honest review.

The ethos behind Wildmint Cosmetics, to find products that were free from unhealthy ingredients, simple to use, and give visible results. WildMint was born after years of work which involved collaborating with holistic dermatologies and skincare experts

5 Step Clear Skin Set

I tried the 5 step clear skin set, consisting of the Citrus Cleanser, Citrus Splash Toner, Youth Boost Serum, Marula Magic Facial Oil and the Smooth Boost Moisturiser

My main skin concerns were ageing, dehydrated skin with fine lines and age spots starting I am 50 so my skin concerns are all age related I am not one for things like Botox and more invasive procedures.

Left photo shows the Before and After 30 days of using the set. As you can see my skin looks more hydrated and less redness and it looks more even. And the fine lines under my eyes look much better

I found the kit super easy to use, I liked that it had all the steps I needed and what order to use them in The only additional product I used was SPF as I would not go without that and the kit didn’t have one.

The cleanser smells lovely and feels like it really does cleanse the skin The toner lasts forever, I still have my original one. The Serum and Facial Oil are my favourite products and I have repurchased both many times. The moisturiser is good, I have since bougth the Glow to Bed night moisturiser as I find that more nourishing on my dehydrated skin and I use this for daytime too.

Overall Thoughts

I can honestly say I love the products I have repurchased them as well as the eye cream and I will continue to do so. Some items I feel that I wouldn’t miss are the toner and the moisturiser but I still highly recommend the 5 step kit if you are looking for a skincare routine that is easy and products that are easy to use and that do work.

I also find that the products are good value for money and do last really well And I love that there are refills and that they come in bottles so less waste for the planet. The standout product for me is the Marula Facial Oil, it doesn’t sit on top of skin like some oils can and it really absorbed well
