here’s more good news for those cheering the redevelopment of Sarnia’s downtown
IT WAS THE second last day on the job for Sarnia Police Chief Phil Nelson and Deputy Chief Bob Farlow, who were joined by a group of fellow officers and civilians for a photo shoot at the Sarnia Police Station on May 31. A drone operated by videographer Benjamin Lawrence of Grafiks Marketing and Communications and sales manager Josh Cote, not shown, captured the occasion. Tricar had moved ahead with soil testing, an exemption related to parking and obtained a setback requirement because the lot at that site was slightly too small. City Hall’s building department was waiting on a site plan for 383 Christina St. so the 126-unit project could go ahead. But Carapella’s plans abruptly Continued on page 2
