Hello!

Welcome to your Summer at The Roses.

Summer is a time for making memories—long days, light evenings and experiences shared with friends and family. Whether you’re planning quality time with the kids, a night out with loved ones, or simply treating yourself to something special, we’re here to make your summer sparkle. We’re beyond excited to welcome the legendary Bill Bailey back to The Roses this August for a whole week of performances. It’s an honour to host such an iconic performer right here in Tewkesbury—if you haven’t booked your tickets yet, don’t wait!

Our summer season also brings you the chance to unwind in style with our Deer Park Wine Tasting on Thu 10 Jul . Join us for an elegant evening exploring award-winning local wines, paired with good food and the relaxed atmosphere of The Roses—perfect for a summer treat.

Families are in for a real adventure this season, with Dinosaur Adventure Live, a magical outdoor performance of The Wind in the Willows in Victoria Gardens, and the return of the dazzling Taylor Swift tribute, The Eras Experience.

One of the true highlights of our programme is The Wizard of Oz: Youth Edition on Sat 12 Jul , performed by our very own Roses Young Creatives. This beloved classic showcases the dedication and talent of our youth theatre. We couldn’t be prouder to share their hard work with you. Thank you for spending your summer with us—we can’t wait to welcome you.

Friends Membership Just Got Even Better!

True friendship is about showing up and being there through thick and thin. That’s exactly what our Friends do for The Roses.

Without the loyal support of our donors, Friends and Patrons, The Roses simply wouldn’t exist today. They are the reason our lights are on, our stage is alive and our community has a place to come together.

Unlike many theatres, we don’t receive any local government or arts council funding. This means every ticket sold, every coffee bought and every Friend signed up helps keep our doors open. And with rising costs, an ageing building to maintain and artists to support, it’s more challenging than ever.

That’s why we need Friends like you.

Becoming a Friend of The Roses isn’t just about supporting your local theatre; it’s about ensuring we continue to be a vibrant hub for entertainment, connection and creativity for years to come. And because Friends are so important to us, we’ve made our membership even better!

After all, what are Friends for?
