Experience joy, build confidence, and form friendships in a welcoming, creative environment guided by an experienced team of SEN specialists!
Infinite Creatives is a weekly programme designed for neurodivergent and learning-disabled young people aged 10 to 18, whether diagnosed or undiagnosed. This group is ideal for young people in specialist provision or home education. Many of our current participants have autism or ADHD, and some experience anxiety or challenges in social situations.
Since 2020, North Gloucestershire has lost all out-of-school extracurricular activities tailored to children with special educational needs. At The Roses, we’re stepping in to help fill that gap, recognising the profound impact that creative expression can have on the confidence and wellbeing of young people with neurodiversity.
If you have any questions about our access provision or the suitability of this programme for your young person, please do get in touch with georgia.shire@rosestheatre.org
Each week, participants will explore their creativity through crafts, drama and music. Supported by our experienced team of SEN facilitators, they’ll have the chance to build friendships and express themselves with confidence. We are dedicated to creating a safe, accessible environment where young people can truly flourish.

“Seren is home educated so these sessions where she is working with a group are very important. It’s not an opportunity Seren gets often and it’s somewhere she feels safe and valued which helps to build her confidence. These opportunities are hard to come by and this group of children are often excluded from having experiences like this where they wouldn’t find fitting in easy. The inclusivity is so important for socialising and mental health.”
The Roses’ mission is to bring joy through creativity. We are a friendly, community orientated entertainment venue in the heart of Tewkesbury.
Parking is conveniently positioned over the road from the venue with plenty of spaces available.
Upon arrival, you will find a foyer where the Box Office team is available to assist you in finding your way to the session.
Our venue is a two-story building with accessible toilets located both upstairs and downstairs, at the end of the café and bar areas. The sessions take place on the first floor, and there is a lift near the toilets for those with limited mobility. Alternatively, the stairs by the café lead to the first floor, where a facilitator will be ready to greet you.
Please also feel free to visit our virtual tour at www.rosestheatre.org/visit
If you’re feeling hungry, snacks and drinks are available for purchase at the downstairs café.
With extensive experience working in SEN and mainstream schools, as well as in SEMH centers and mental health inpatient units, Sam brings a wealth of understanding and creativity to Infinite Creatives.
When leading Infinite Creatives, Sam incorporates plenty of games. Some of these are nonverbal and involve playful music and expressive physical actions.
She is a full-time Learning Partner at a large special school in Gloucester, where she has worked for over twenty years. Session Leader
You’ll often hear Sam before you see him—laughing, chatting, or making a funny noise on his way in!
Sam has been part of the Infinite Creatives group from the very beginning. She especially loves the ideas and inspiration shared during sessions, which have developed into wonderful songs, plays, videos, and crafts.
Jordan is the Community Assistant at The Roses, where he has worked for just over two years. He supports groups who come to the theatre for wellbeing and social activities, assisting the session facilitator and helping participants with any questions they may have. Last year, he completed a Level 2 qualification in Understanding Autism.
Jordan enjoys working with young people in Infinite Creatives, finding it inspiring to sit back, watch, and admire their work—he admits he wishes he were as talented at art as they are!
Georgia is the Youth and Education Producer at The Roses, overseeing all programs that connect with children and schools, including Roses Young Creatives and Infinite Creatives. Although she doesn’t lead every session, you’ll definitely see her pop in from time to time.
To unwind, Georgia enjoys listening to music, watching feel-good movies, and spending lots of time in fun activities with her young son.

Complete the registration form on our website: rosestheatre.org/infinite-creatives
You will receive an email confirmation from us.
We might ask you for a follow up call. This can be to:
• Answer any questions or concerns you have about the programme
• Talk through the registration form and ensure the programme is suitable
• Agree on any reasonable adjustments to make the programme more accessible and inclusive for your young person
Q: I’m a parent or carer, can I join in the sessions?
A: We encourage independence in our sessions; however, parents/carers can observe or join in activities to help ease and settle the young person. We welcome parents and carers to stay and have a drink in our downstairs café, if you’d like to stay in the venue and wait.
Q: We can’t commit to every Saturday, is that ok?
A: We encourage participants to join every week to receive the benefits of the programme, but we understand that unexpected events like illness can crop up. Simply email us if you cannot attend. If you don’t attend for a few weeks in a row, we may get in touch just to check that everything is ok.
Q: My young person is anxious about meeting new people and visiting new places, can you help?
A: Absolutely. We can arrange a virtual meet and greet between yourselves and one of our team members, so there will be a familiar and friendly face when you arrive to your first session. This can be instead of, or in addition to, a follow up call when you can find out more about what to expect.
Q: I’ve never been to The Roses, can I come and look at the space first?
A: Of course! Let us know if you would like a staff member to show you around or visit our website for our opening hours –pop in at a time that suits you.
Q: My child has significant needs, is this programme suitable?
A: We do everything we can to make this programme inclusive and will work with you to create adjustments wherever possible. Most of our participants have autism and attend a specialist provision or are home educated. Our venue type may not be a suitable environment for every SEN young person, so talk to us about your concerns or come along for a trial session.
