The High School Forensics season begins mid-January with a series of invitational tournaments, and normally culminates with the MIFA State Tournament in May. This year, however, both of the Middle and High School end-of-the-year tournaments were held completely online, and the videos you see tonight are the students’ submissions. All of these students practiced long hours with coaches, both in-person and online, choosing, cutting, memorizing and perfecting their pieces or honing their public address style. Each received written performance critiques, which have been excerpted in this program for this evening’s performers. We hope you enjoy watching the results of their hard work as much as we have enjoyed coaching them this year! ~ Dan Jacobs, Jaffar Boumediene, Laura Moore, and Katarina Moore ~
