ROAR! ON THE ROAD ROAR! is now on the road! Join The Ringling at local Sarasota libraries for a free storytime that connects art with early literacy. At this program, we read together, make art, and learn about an object in the museum. This program is designed for preschoolers and toddlers, but all ages are welcome!

FAMILY PROGRAMS
JOIN US FOR THESE EXCITING FREE PROGRAMS!
These programs are free; however tickets are required. Tickets are limited and will be available online approximately 14 days prior to each program. Tickets include museum admission for the rest of the day.
STROLLER TOURS
Join a museum educator for a 45-minute tour designed for parents or caregivers visiting the museum with an infant or toddler. This tour provides a stimulating walk for little ones while grownups enjoy The Ringling’s collection with a flexible, understanding group. New themes and works of art will be highlighted at each tour. Strollers or front baby carriers only, please.
OPEN STUDIO
Each week, we provide a new art material for you to explore using your imagination and creativity! This program is designed to be more about the process of making art than the product.
Wednesday August 6, will be a Special Open Studio with Poynter Institute of Media Studies.
FAMILY NIGHTS @ ART AFTER 5
Family Nights @ Art After 5 invites families to spend a fun summer evening at the museum! Gallery activities vary and are posted on the website and on our Facebook page, Family Programs at The Ringling. Please note that Thursday night admission is free and is for the Museum of Art. Thursday, July 24, will also include admission to the Circus Museum. Suitable for all ages!
ROAR! | RINGLING ORDER OF ART READERS
ROAR! is our free story time connecting art with early literacy. At this program, we read together, make art, and learn about an object in the museum. This program is designed for preschoolers and toddlers, but all ages are welcome! Weekly themes will vary.
ROAR! is offered at 10:15 AM (with check-in beginning at 9:45 AM) and 11:30 AM (with check-in any time after 10:00 AM) Please make sure to leave enough time to walk from the Visitors Pavilion to the MakerSpace in the JohnsonBlalock Education Center so you don’t miss the story!
FAM | FAMILY ART MAKING
FAM (Family Art Making) is a free program that’s fun for the whole family! Join us for creative art projects inspired by an object in our collections. Afterward, visit the museum to see that object in person! You will be able to visit the Museum of Art and the Circus Museum with your FAM wristband that is provided at check-in. Family Art Making is for preregistered families with children under 18.
FAMILY GALLERY TALKS
Family Gallery Talks offer our youngest visitors and their families a chance to engage in close looking, discussion, and gallery activities with a piece or pieces of art. The highlighted pieces coordinate with the art project in Family Art Making in the MakerSpace. (Entry to FAM included in your registration.) Suitable for ages five and up!
HOMESCHOOL THIRD THURSDAY
Summer HTT for Tweens and Teens is a special Homeschool Third Thursday program for ages 11 and up.
SENSORY BAGS
Visitors may request a sensory bag when they check in. These bags are free for visitors and theirs to keep. The bags include noise-reducing earplugs, several fidget toys, a pair of sunglasses, a sensory map of the museum, and a visual cue card and pencil. This cue card includes photographs of venues and activities and prompts visitors to “make a plan” for their visit.
