Felt socket head with pressed and painted facial features, small blue eyes with enhanced dark eye shadow, curvy brows, accented nostrils, firmly-set closed mouth, painted brown hair, firmly-stuffed cloth body, posed on original wooden stand. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: H.M. The King Made in England by J.K. Farnell & Co, Ltd (paper label and with original cloth label) “Farnell’s Alpha Toys”. Comments: Farnell, circa 1936, portraying King George VI in his coronation robes. Value Points: the elaborate costume includes items such as purple velvet faux-ermine lined robe, crown, spectre, and orb. $200/300
