Sachin Tendulkar Biography Sachin Tendulkar is a former Indian cricketer. His Original name is Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar. Sachin was born on 1973 April 24 in Mumbai. His father, Ramesh Tendulkar was famous Marathi novelist and poet and her mother Rajni worked as insurance industry. Sachin is naturedly soft spoken person. Sachin Tendulkar started to play cricket at the age of 11. He was played fifty five practice matches during the summer break of sixty days.
