Timber-Frame Walls • Natural building material • Renewable • Low embodied energy (local resource) • Can be prefabricated In summer: classrooms and ground floor will be naturally ventilated, thermal mass can slow down the heat flow for passive cooling, ventilation louvres on rooftop for stack ventilation.
