Energy Proposition The energy proposition for the Textile Heritage Centre should be an integrate sustainable proposal, because the energy consumption in museums and galleries according to de ‘Collection Trust’ could be a 20% – 30% proportion of the total cost. Proposal • Water Neutrality • LED Lighting System • Double Glazing • Biomass Boiler • Improve insulation Each zone of the complex will have different environmental needs.

There are 5 environmental zones in the complex : • Museum • Library • Reading Area • Restaurant • Outdoor Area The colour indicates the maximum temperature in the different areas. For example the restaurant should be at a temperature of 18º. The archive has specific climate and humidity control requirements.
