Sophisticated and timeless If you like nice shoes, good books, a fantastic lunch with friends, why would you wear cheap readers? That is what Lucie thought and she asked her husband Frank to design some really nice ready readers for her. He designed them, and made some for himself too. In the best acetate, with the best bluelight filtered lenses. In pretty colours, fashionable but not too trendy, always in style; laidback luxury, timeless and sophisticated.

The Frank and Lucie brand was born!

How it all started Frank and Lucie Seemore are orginally from London. But now they live more often in the countryside close to the sea. Here they find everything they need and for their cultural needs, London is close by.

They like to travel by car but also by electric bike.

Frank used to design frames. Then his wife Lucie asked him to design some nice ready readers for her en and her friends. As Lucie says, there are so many ugly readers, you know how to design them! Frank started and designed a very nice collection for her AND him.

Our Readers Frank loves beautiful materials, so he made the choice for acetate frames. They fit well, are strong and the delicacy of the material and the patterns is incredible. The lenses need to be perfect, allthough it is a ready made product. The bluelight filter is one of the best in the industry. So good old acetate goes very well with the lenstechnology of today.

The look and feel is vintage in a modern way. A little architectural sometimes. Now there are 10 models in many laid-back luxurious colours, like the beloved amber brown, Iced Coffee and Greyvanna, black of course, pretty crystal clear ones and colours that come with the season.

There is always a fun part in the collections. The names make sense in a funny way. The round model for instance is called Eyeglobe, the wider frame Eyequarium. So now there are the Eyebrow, Eyeball, Eyecon, Eyequarium, Eyeglobe, Eyecube, Eyewonder and recently Eyecontact and Eyewitness.

For especially men who stick to their timeless lookovers, Frank designed the perfect pair, made of acetate in various strong colours. He calls them The Eyespies.

Eyewonder Our newest model is a very feminine one. A little cateye, with a very pretty nosebridge. Like in all our Frank and Lucie’s the logo is embossed in the templetip. The Eyewonder was launched early 2020 , but will capture many hearts (and eyes) in the Italian Odyssey colours like Sea Shore, Seaweed and Beach a la Creme.

Eyeball Vintage but also very modern, that is our Eyeball. This round frame is the one we started the Frank and Lucie collection with. Iconic for him and her.

Chains Very useful but also very nice; our eyewear chains in many colours, materials and shapes.

There are extravagant models, chunky acrylic chains and more modest ones with small beads, and precious metals.

Most of them come with extra connectors, links round rings and square ones, to make a necklace of your chain and put your glasses in them.

Lets show them Everything depends on good communication, and thus presentation. Frank and Lucie developed some very simple, but classy presentation forms. Like our vegan leather boxes for 6 or 12 frames, our stylish eyewear chain standard and of course our well known and beloved soft pouches with exclusive patterns.

For those who want to keep their frames more safe and sound, we designed the iconic foldable case in vegan leather with the great wooden button and ribbon.
