his pandemic has already made us lose hope for what may come next. And currently, a lot of people are struggling in surviving everyday lives. Suddenly, some lives of the people worsen for the past months as the country experienced the raged of three typhoons: Quinta, Rolly, and Ulysses. These typhoons brought misery to the lives of the Filipino people. Typhoon Ulysses has become the most destructive tropical cyclone so far for this year, 2020. It brought heavy rains and strong winds throughout the country that wherein it caused massive flooding wrecked establishments and houses that killed a lot of dozens of people. A catastrophic disaster left Filipinos in agony who lost their homes and their loved ones.

Rotarians, Rotaractors of Rotary International District 3780 collaborated to give aid to the fellow Filipinos. The Rotary International District 3780 initiated a Relief Operations, Ahon Pilipino: Bagong Umaga, Bagong Pag-Asa. This Relief Operations spearheaded by Governor Johnny Gaw Yu, Spouse/PP Veronica Ho District Rotaract Representative Hasem Baladjay, and Transforming Presidents and the team of the District aids victims of the typhoon. Despite this pandemic, District 3780 carries on with its purpose, to serve the community and country. A long week Relief Operation was held in November. There are 1,135 individuals and 28 evacuees who were given relief packs last November 1, in action with Utopia agency disaster's response team, under Col. Rodrigo Bonifacio. The first day of the long week of Relief Operations was last November 19, it is for the five barangays in Isabela, Cagayan. There are 2,000 relief packs, 600 bags of 2-kilogram rice, and 5 bags of clothes were given to the victims of Typhoon Ulysses. On its second day at Isabela, Cagayan, 2,000 relief packs, 600 bags of 2-kilogram rice, and 5 bags of clothes were also given, it was last November 20. IPP Joel Paragas, representative of Tp Judith Arlyn Vergara of Rotary club of Camp Aguinaldo with Tp Roan Densai of Rotary Club Quezon City South East and Tp Alex Cruz Of Rotary Club of Midtown Cubao of Rotary District 3780 had its Relief Operation last Nov. 21 at Nangka, Marikina.

And, through the Rotary Club of Pag-Asa, barangay Linao, Cagayan received relief packs. The last day of the long week operations was at Echague, Isabela, last November 24. There were 1,500 relief packs, 1,000 bags of 2-kilogram rice, and bags of clothes given out.
Indeed, the Rotaract International District 3780 has a heart that is for the community. Regardless of the pandemic, the District interminably aid and show compassion for the fellow Filipinos. Together, we continue to transform lives.
