In January we will kickoff a Panhandle Rechargeable Battery Recycling program with Call2Recycle. Cities and agencies will be provided a collection box and sealable bags for the batteries. The Panhandle program will be used as a model for other rural areas around the country.

Rechargeable batteries are found in tools, toys, security systems, camera, solar lights, cell phones, laptops, tablets and hand-held communication units. Call Elizabeth for more information @ 372-3381.
