Directions From Kidderminster town centre leave the ring road via Comberton Hill signposted Bromsgrove A448. Kidderminster The largest of the three towns in the Wyre Forest District of North Worcestershire, Kidderminster lies 17 miles south-west of Birmingham and 15 miles north of Worcester, with a main railway line connecting to both of these cities.

Spennells Valley Nature Reserve Spennells Valley Local Nature Reserve covers an area of 15.7 hectares (39 acres). Located along the banks of the Hoo Brook and its tributaries, the site forms a green corridor running through the Spennells Valley housing estate. The estate is unusual in comparison to most housing developments of its time in retaining many mature trees and wooded footpaths, giving parts of the estate a distinctively leafy, semi-rural feel and character.
