The Dinwiddie County Parks, Recreation & Tourism Department would like to invite everyone out to the 4th annual, Dinwiddie County Fair at the Virginia Motorsports Park on September 4th through September 8th, 2013. We had our best year yet in 2012, despite some heavy rain on the weekend nights. Nearly 12,000 people attended the fair last year, which was a new record. In 2013, things should get even better. Because of great attendance the fair has even extended one day this year. We have all of same old attractions, plus a new

music lineup, a family circus, new food vendors, and an expanded 4H and Extension Office exhibit. You will continue to see free attractions such as live music, fireworks on certain nights, racing exhibitions on certain nights, pig racing, dock diving dogs, a petting zoo, and RC racing cars. For an extra cost, Jolly Shows Midway returns with 26 carnival rides, 8 games, and concessions trailers. There will be camel rides, train rides, monster truck rides, and bounce house type attractions as well. Parks, Recreation & Tourism would like to extend

The Parks, Recreation & Tourism Department works extremely hard to provide guests with a fun, safe, and affordable Fair experience. Compare our admission fee with any other, and you will see that it can truly be an affordable family experience. Please help us spread the word to as many people as possible, both in Dinwiddie County, the tri-cities, and all of southside Virginia. Help
