Glasshouse Fragrances was founded in 2005. Our provenance begins with individual flair: personal vision is at our very roots. Visionary founder and New Yorker Nicole Eckels fulfilled her destiny as a pioneer when she created a new fragrance company, forged by her childhood obsession with scent and her quest for living a glamorous life.
Our heroine took the Yellow Brick Road all the way to her own personal Oz - the dream of creating affordable yet luxe, divinely sensual fragrances that deliver world class experiences.
From the beginning, Nicole worked like an art director alongside the perfumers to ‘curate’ a range of fragrances ideal for home and body, starting with her beloved green, amber and heady floral notes. Born from a spark of imagination and a small trial batch of candles in her kitchen, Glasshouse Fragrances immediately resonated with customers and has now blossomed into a global brand prized for its exceptional performance, variety and price point. Our devoted customers span Asia, South Africa, the UK, Canada, New Zealand, Japan, our country of origin, Australia, where we are the market leader, and most recently the United States.

TRIPLE SCENTED CANDLES
These are not your average home fragrances, each one is highly complex, and crafted to infuse your space with a signature scent.
Our candles our triple scented, which means we use 3 times the average amount of high level fragrance in each of our artisanal candles.
Our proprietary non-toxic soy blend wax has been created exclusively by Glasshouse Fragrances to ensure each candle burns evenly and cleanly all the way to the bottom of the jar, leaving behind a scent experience that is intensely fragrant.
All candles are hand poured and finished by Glasshouse Fragrances’ master candle makers in Sydney, Australia.
Each glass vessel embodies streamlined angles, with elegant lids and a beautifully sustainable, heavily weighted base.
Due to the silicone seal, the jar can be upcycled and repurposed.
Candles are nestled in soft touch boxes with gold foiling for a contemporary look and feel.

THE BOTTLE DESIGNER
Pierre Dinand’s career has seen him consult every major fashion house for the creation of their fragrance bottles. From Dior to YSL, for whom he designed the iconic ‘Opium’ bottle, Dinand’s stories and legacy in fragrance spans over 50 years.
Trained as an architect, Dinand is both an artist and designer, with his designs pushing the boundaries of traditional perfume bottles, defining his iconic approach and style to fragrance.
From his base in France, Pierre has designed bespoke 1.7 fl. oz. and 3.4 fl.oz. glass bottles to house the initial 4 fragrances at launch. Faceted glass is featured on the sides of the bottle which reflect beautifully in natural light. The bottle is paired with a premium black magnetic lid for easy closure and the iconic gold lock up is front and centre.
