Making-of
Priortoprocessingour bamboo,itissoakedinwater forseveralmonths. After drying,thebamboopiecesare splitandthencutintostrips andpressed. Theyarebentintorings, flattenedintodiscs,and formedintoabowlshapeusing astonemold. Theresultingrawproductis filledwithriceflourinseveral passes,primedwithlacquer d arefullysanded. hetopcoat(matteor sapplied, andthe oesthroughitsfinal s;overadozen ionsoflacquerand color.
