Dance Festival The Point’s annual dance festival presents two weeks of performances, workshops and community celebrations.
Jump Out
Saturday 11th June 10.00am - 4.00pm A FREE fun-packed outdoor day of dance. Celebrate the start of this year’s festival by dancing into Eastleigh, with exciting activities and events for the whole family on Leigh Road recreation ground. From 10.00am there will be opportunities for all ages to take part in a variety of free dance classes, some of which The Point offers throughout the year, including hip hop, belly, tap, ballet and creative dance. Come along and try out something new.

If you’d rather watch others do the dancing, take a stroll around the park and watch one of the many dance displays including breakdance, salsa and street dance. At 2.00pm grab an ice cream and watch Jump Out - a free outdoor performance on The Point’s Garden Stage that will showcase some of the best dance talent within the south east region.
