How to use a fire extinguisher

• take a fire extinguisher with a left hand by the handle;

• remove the fire extinguisher from the suspension;

• come as close as possible to the fire source (the carbon dioxide jet is supplied at a maximum distance of 1.5 m);

• direct the diffuser towards the fire;

• with your right hand turn the “handwheel” of the lock and release device counterclockwise until it stops (pull out the locking ring and press the trigger);

• direct a jet of carbon dioxide towards the fire center (time of supply of carbon dioxide is 20-25 sec).

During the operation, hold the fire extinguisher with the valve facing up.

Action Plan during Emergencies Caused by Disturbances of Public Order

1. Appeal to passengers with a demand to stop disturbing public order, call for help from other passengers.

2. In cases that threaten health and life of passengers and the driver, draw attention of drivers of other vehicles and police officers by giving sound signals, turning on lights, maneuvering the bus.

3. If a radiotelephone communication is available in the bus, immediately inform the dispatcher of the terminal station or depot about the situation.

4. Stop, as soon as possible, the vehicle in a place safe for passengers to exit and open the doors. Ask passengers, if necessary, to inform the police about the incident and (or) call an ambulance.

5. In the event of mass rioting or shooting on the streets along the bus route, stop the vehicle at the nearest stop or in a place convenient for parking, open the doors of the cabin for passenger deboarding, explaining the reason for this. Try to identify with a help of passengers the area of
