Would you like to sing in our Choir?
Ulverston Choral Society sang its first notes in 1844...and we're still singing! We're an enthusiastic and friendly group who meet to rehearse under the leadership of our Music Director, Heather Paynes, each Thursday evening from 7:15pm - 9:15pm at Ulverston Methodist Church in Neville Street. Over recent years our concerts have included Karl Jenkins 'Armed Man', Faure 'Requiem', Haydens 'Creation, and Rutters 'Sprig of Thyme'. This year we'll be singing at St Peters Heversham and St Marys in Ulverston and we're looking forward to our Spring concert when Mozart's 'Requiem' is on the menu! We're keen to promote choral music and to encourage new members . Our Thursday rehearsals give us all a chance to share our love of choral music and singing.
