SHOW OVERVIEW
Next year marks the 50th Anniversary of SCHOOLHOUSE ROCK! And to celebrate, ABC invites you to singalong with America’s biggest stars, to these iconic songs; that first aired on ABC on Saturday, Jan. 6, 1973.
In this next installment of the hugely successful SINGALONG FRANCHISE, we celebrate the most beloved songs from the series and put a contemporary spin on some of the classics, to make them speak to the current moment and bring in a whole new generation of fans!
THE LOOK
Set entirely in a school. From the classrooms to the cafeteria, from the auditorium to the athletic fields; our host will play the role of the mascot, ROCKY. And we will utilize the series’ iconic jukebox as a way to transition between performances.
Our audience at home will singalong to the songs while following the bouncing apple over a chalkboard with the lyrics of these classic tunes.
