Start Today There’s no need to jump on every opportunity that presents itself. Sometimes it’s more important to focus on what brings you happiness in this moment, and let the ride take you where you should be.

Write Out a Plan Write out your obligations from most enjoyable to least enjoyable. Rate them in regards to how much each one benefits you (happiness, financial, helps reaching your goals). See if there’s anything you can ditch from this list. For help on choosing what’s essential and what isn’t, check out this month’s selfcare toolkit on page 34.

Plan Your Financials Pay attention to what things are costing you; not just monetarily either. How much time are these opportunities taking away from your family or the things you really want to do in life? Is it worth the exchange for a few extra dollars a month or could you budget the money from somewhere else? Explore possibility in your closet by reading this month’s style article on page 36.

Have a Plan B Do those things you really want to do. It’s ok to say no to an opportunity that sounds amazing but isn’t something you’re willing to trade for (we always trade something).
