The Paulinian staff joins JournCamp ‘23 by Emerald Fiona Serrano

Members of The Paulinian joined in Explained PH Virtual Journalism Camp Skills Enhancement Series for Campus Journalism last November 25-26, 2023 via Zoom. Participated by student journalists and school paper advisers in the Philippines, the two-day event featured a diverse lineup of distinguished speakers, each specializing in different facets of journalism. The sessions featured a holistic approach to journalism, aimed to equip attendees with the tools and expertise across various journalistic domains. The first day included sessions by Mr. Rjay Castor, who provided insights on News Writing; Mr. Hans Benedict Peña, who talked about Radio Broadcasting and Scriptwriting; Mr. Archie Villaflores, who focused on Editorial Writing; Cartoonist SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY Zach, who talked about Editorial Cartooning; Mr. Ancelmo Miguel Catalla, Solar Storm: The who talked about Column Writing; Ms. Realities and Myths Diana Mae Salonoy, who explored Sports Explained by Marian Dannica Tappol Writing; and Ms. Prences Jhewen Albis, and Dayn Lord Pasion who focused on Online Publishing. page 18 continue on page 8
