KIDS’ CORNER

There was a gigantic one outside of the building where the ball toss and the sandpit was a haunted ferris wheel with skeletons in every gondola. One was wearing a clown costume, while another (which was a skeleton dog surprisingly) was wearing a vampire costume! I guess the dog was having a happy Howl-oween so far! Also, inside of the same building is another art piece of a pickup truck with a rustic sign of Colton’s Fun Farm on the cargo bed decorated with witches, scarecrows, and ghouls in front. It’s definitely something you should take a selfie in front of!

Pumpkins Galore at the Pumpkin Patch

Oh yeah, you heard me right. It can’t be a Halloweenthemed fun farm without its own pumpkin patch! At the front of the farm is a pumpkin patch with all kinds of pumpkins: tall, short, big, round, scaly, you name it! Searching for the perfect one is eeriesistable!

Other Spooky Activities

Obviously, those ones aren’t the only activities at Colton’s Fun Farm. There’s a game of Tic Tac Toe using wooden silhouette cutouts of phantoms and witch hats that is loads of fun. In front of that are jumbo-sized puzzles of different art pieces based off Halloween with a reference picture to guide you, so you don’t mess up. There’s also one of my favourite activities there in which you have to put a golf ball on a block of wood and then you have to pull it up a wall and dodge the holes in the wall. It’s basically like mini golf but on a surface and you’re pulling back so it goes up It’s a battle of strength and wits!

Colton’s Fun Farm Giving Back by Donating

Did you know that Colton’s Fun Farm donates to Help a Child Smile? Let me explain. The family who owns the farm lost their son to cancer. In remembrance of him, most of the profits that they make go to Help a Child Smile because their main purpose is to give young cancer patients at least some days off to leave the hospital and do something fun. So, when you visit Colton’s Fun Farm, not only do you have a great time, but you feel great afterwards knowing that you just helped a cancer patient leave their worries at the hospital, even if for day.

Conclusion

Colton’s Fun Farm isn’t only a fun place to visit sometime in the fall in Brantford, it’s an awesome place filled with joy and excitement seeing all of the spooky art, exploring around the big eerie corn maze, and playing all of the fun activities. It’s something that you should really put on your ‘MUST VISIT’ list sometime this fall, and make sure to buy a pumpkin afterwards! Orange you excited for Halloween?
