COMMUNITY NEWS Families Invited to Celebrate Family Literacy Day at County of Brant Public Library Submitted Release Paris, ON - Families in the County of Brant are invited to immerse themselves in the joy of storytelling and celebrate Family Literacy Day at the local public library. The event aims to combine knowledge and fun through literacy-focused activities, emphasizing the importance of family bonding through books, imagination, and free play. This exciting day promises to be an educational and memorable experience for both young minds and the young at heart.
Scheduled for Saturday, January 27, 2024, the Family Literacy Day festivities will take place at various County of Brant Public Library branches, including Burford, Glen Morris, Paris, Scotland-Oakland, and St. George. The activities will run throughout the day unless otherwise specified. The celebrations will feature a range of engaging activities, including a book character scavenger hunt, Family Literacy Day poster decorating, and a special Make & Play Drop-In session from 10 AM to 12 PM at the Scotland-Oakland Branch. Additionally, the Paris Branch will host a Saturday Storytime session from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Other highlights include a
