Titans pull out 5-4 win over Wellesley on home ice

The Paris Titans wrapped up its January home games with a big 5-4 win over the Wellesley Applejacks on January 28th .

The Titans came ready to play and it showed with a quick goal from Jack Moffat in the first 30 seconds of the first period. Wellesley responded with two goals of their own but the lead was short lived because Thomas Lonsdale dumped a puck in near the end of the first to end the period in a 2-2 tie. The Applejacks scored the only goal in the second period putting them up heading into the third period. The Titans fought back dominating most of the third period with goals from Seth Kirou, Owen Lalonde and another from Lonsdale to stay on top of the Applejacks 5-3. Their opponents would get one last minute goal in the final seconds of the third but it wasn’t enough and Paris held on for the win. Titans goalie Ryan Burroughs made 40 saves in net to keep the team in the game. Duncan Dodd, Switzer, Tyler Crisostomo, Kirou (2), and Lonsdale (2) all picked up assists. Paris plays tonight against the Woodstock Navy Vets at the Brant Sports Complex Puck drops at 7:30 pm
