COMMUNITY NEWS At the time, there was a promise to not change the existing corporate structure. And for years the company has continued to operate from the same north end location within the community and as expected it has grown. Now that they are in the final stages of acquisition, Johnston admits the integration has gone surprisingly smooth.

ModulR TS and Soprema joining forces led to a much larger customer base which created more jobs and gave existing employes more opportunities and job security. The company invested in its building to strength its production. “The future looks bright in the sense that we will be implementing a large multi-

million-dollar investment into the facility, which will in turn equate to more jobs within the community,” said Johnston. As for immediate sustainability and growth plans, Johnston shared the company will focus on a recycling program in the New Year in conjunction with its sister plan in Woodstock.
